For Chrysalis Arts UK: Cathy Fitzgerald on ECOSOCIAL (ECOLOGICAL) ART IN PRACTICE

I’m delighted share that I will be talking about my ongoing ecosocial arts practice, The Hollywood Forest Story (since 2008), this Thursday 20 May, 2PM Irish/UK time 2021 for UK Chrysalis Art Development’s Art & Climate in Practice three-week programme.

Chrysalis UK are hosting a series of talks and events exploring the work of artists, curators and others engaged with the climate emergency and a diverse range of related issues.

The programme’s focus is on the development of artists’ practice, informed by the themes and approaches which have emerged from Chrysalis Arts’ ongoing Greening Arts Practice programme.

These include:

Collaborations between artists, curators, scientists, environmentalists and other specialists
Slow Art and artists’ deepening engagement with the natural environment
Activism and social engagement
Wellbeing and Creativity
Sustainable processes and materials

To book tickets, please see this Eventbrite booking page.

Please note, there is a charge to cover some of the costs in developing this programme.
